This Company Policy outlines our professional standards, legal compliance, safety measures, customer responsibilities, and business ethics in accordance with Indian laws.

At SGTRANSROADLINES , we aim to:

  • Provide safe and timely transportation of goods.
  • Ensure transparency in pricing and billing.
  • Protect customer data and maintain confidentiality.
  • Resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
  • Comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations.
  1. Legal Compliance

We operate in accordance with:

  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • The Carriage by Road Act, 2007
  • The Indian Contract Act, 1872
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000
  • The Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (GST Act)
  • Applicable State Road Transport and Traffic Laws

We maintain necessary permits, GST registration, and transport licenses for interstate movement of goods.

  1. Service Policy
  • Transport services are offered for goods only—passenger transport is not included unless otherwise licensed.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on distance, road conditions, or external delays.
  • Packaging is the customer’s responsibility unless our team is hired for this task.
  • Goods declared as prohibited or hazardous under Indian law are not accepted for transport.
  1. Pricing & Payments
  • Charges are based on type of goods, distance, weight/volume, and urgency.
  • All prices are subject to GST as applicable.
  • Payments must be made through secure, accepted methods (UPI, Bank Transfer, Cards, Net Banking, etc.).
  • Full or partial payment may be required in advance for service confirmation.
  1. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide correct and complete shipping details.
  • Disclose the true nature and value of goods.
  • Ensure proper packing of goods or opt for professional packing.
  • Avoid shipping restricted, dangerous, or illegal items.

Failure to comply may result in delay, refusal, or cancellation of service, without liability on the company.

  1. Loss & Liability Policy
  • We are liable for loss or damage only if caused by our direct negligence.
  • Compensation limits may apply as per Carriage by Road Act, 2007, unless additional insurance is taken.
  • We are not responsible for damage caused due to improper packaging, weather, acts of God, or unforeseen events.
  1. Refund & Cancellation

Refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for detailed terms. Cancellations before dispatch may incur a processing fee. Refunds, if applicable, are processed within 7–14 working days.

  1. Safety & Conduct
  • We follow all road safety norms and RTO regulations.
  • Our drivers and logistics staff are trained and verified.
  • We do not tolerate unlawful conduct or abuse from staff or customers.
  1. Data Privacy

We respect your privacy and protect your data in accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

  1. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute, we encourage resolution through dialogue and customer support. If unresolved, legal jurisdiction lies with the courts of Baramati – Maharashtra, India.
